I dun actually have the groove to write. Woken up by OH just a moment ago saying that Afya’s having fever. After the dose of neurofen alhamdulillah her temperature’s gone down.
Sending her to school is one of the best decision I’ve ever made. She loves going to school. She’s more sociable and chatty. Still whiny but less. She helps cleaning up her mess. She does lotsa things herself or attempt to when asked but is it worth the price to pay (apart from school fees that is) with her having runny nose almost constantly since day 1 I left her at school.. and the whole family having bouts of terrible cough that just seems to never go away and herself being feverish every fortnight?
Is it okay even to think that this is not from school but just some bugs that we get from nowhere and everywhere?
I dare not say because I’ve learned to adapting myself having her in school every morning albeit for mere 3hrs+ but will it be necessary at this point without knowing the actual cause to take her off from school for sometime and see if her health improves?
So.. is it her school? I do recall myself getting bouts of really terrible cough that lasts for weeks.. at least once a year. I remember having it while I was carrying Afya.. I remember having it even before I finished studying that OH took me to see a specialist.. I was prescribed with steroid inhaler, which had made the cough finally go away.. but at the same time also got the house broken into. OH sure remembers that quite vividly..
Maybe it has nothing to do with school.. maybe it’s just me..
