Packing #2
If she’s a chronic over packer, I am a chronic UNDERPACKER. I love mixing and matching but sometimes I find myself ending up with one pair of jeans to go with 5 different tops. I almost always have something I kinda need, left behind. Sometime I go back with a clothes that I have worn already.. sometimes I had to borrow DH’s t-shirt hahaha.
So finding the balance.. we are already talking about a mock packing so that we can see how our bags are going to weigh. We kinda have a limit on one of the flights.
This video makes me want an LV.. but then.. nahhh… ;p
and no, we’re not going skiing
These bootie wedges are made for hiking?
Saving this for the trip believe it or not
Cannot contain the excitement

I have a countdown on my homescreen now. Still a long way to go unfortunately.
Wow.. just wow
So impressed with the 20mm already. Why did’t I get this a lot sooner?!
This was taken from my living room. If you’ve been to my place you would understand what that is an incredibly big a deal.
I tot this is where I stop at but while reading reviews, I found out that olympus have an even faster 45mm at their disposal pulak! *facepalm* which is priced at about the same as a secondhand panasonic 20mm one. Oh well.. DH said no and seeing that he’s the one funding this little hobby of mine.. I’m like.. okay.. although I would really love to try it out.. at a shop probably hehehe.
Perhaps IF the 45mm one is indeed better for our trip.. perhaps I should trade em.. perhaps..
Photos from the ee-2
These are the first and only batch that I have ever developed from the ee-2
I still haven’t been able to finish the second roll
I am very clueless on the technicalities of this camera and what kind of shots it’s actually best for. Being so used to auto focus point and shoot since forever i wonder sometimes how it focus. But from the developed pictures, it seems like it doesn’t focus? I dunno.. u tell me.
This is suppose to be a half-framed camera, but when i received my printed copy, each photos were printed on 4Rs. I think that contributes to some loss of details.. tapi.. it’s not like we’re talking in pixels right? So yes i am clueless.
The guy who developed this set told me that the camera is in good condition. I probably need to use flash. Yes i believe him up to some extent.
Right. Itching to finish the second roll. Get that developed and emphasise on how i want the pictures to be in 2s

The is THE lens!
I have acquired 20mm panasonic lumix m4/3 lens finally after iv been lusting it for soooooo long.
The take home lesson today is.. nagging works.. lol nahh actually the item is hardly listed. And kalau ada usually it has been sold.
And of course, it’s a much superior lens compared to olympus 17mm pancake. Just by handling it, you can feel the difference straightaway. No wonder the new one costs more that my camera itself.
Can’t wait to play around with it. I am even considering selling off the 17mm one. Tapi saya demam. I took some photos *low light and *kids and all i have to say is.. it’s worth it.
I dun have my conputer with me.. and mls bak transfer into the ipad so here are the gist of it

Just another turban style
For the trip, DH asked me to learn other ways to tie the hijab just in case. Well you know what I mean.. if you don’t, it’s probably okay and doesn’t matter. So here it is!
also many has been asking on how I tie the scarves the way that I now usually tie it. Here’s the tutorial! I feel like I’ve probably posted this here before. Doesn’t matter too I think
Second leg: driving to and fro

What i know.. it’s not advisable to drive at night. Altho the distance may look like a possible day trip candidate, we are not risking it. Then DH mentioned something about filming set that we should visit and scenic drive.. and donkeys hehehe
Paris in October
http://goparis.about.com/od/parisbymont1/a/Paris_October.htm
Has tips on what to expect in Paris in October. Handy. I didn’t think it’s gonna be that cool. Perhaps I need to consider bringing warmer coats for everyone
what about clothes.. the kids’ clothes?
The longest trip we’ve ever gone on was 10 days to OZ. We brought about 3-4 days worth of clothes.. DH n I brought 2 pairs of pants each. The items that added much bulk was sweaters and such and I think Afya had about 5 days worth of clothes. All the places we stayed at had washer and dryer. So we don’t have anything to worry about.
This upcoming trip is gonna be well over 10 days long. Our plan is to bring 3-5days worth of clothes. All the places we are staying at isn’t necessarily equipped with washer dryer. However DH did mention we will be alternating between accommodation with washer/dryer and without washer/dryer.
@yumyumx of dailyclickclicks posted something awesome about how she handles her kids’ clothes on her recent trip to Japan. She was inspired by @munirahpunye of tripletsplusone who tweeted about how she packed for her 4 kids for her trip. I think this will be how I would want to do it too.
The general idea is to pack clothes, 1 set for each day. So in my case. Salih’s and Afya’s clothes day 1 in one clear and labeled ziplock bag (toldja in our SNUGGstudio tour video [iklan] haha) Jammies are recycled, so 1 jammy for 2 days perhaps? Then also, you will need to pack according to how you think the day would be like.. and what kind of activity you will be having on that day. This includes things like swimming, going to a park? skiing? hiking? then you will also have a few extra sets of clothes.. for extra.. you know how kids are ‘berlengaih’ and sticky on some days for no reasons? hehehehe
I probably am gonna need to come up with a more specific system sing that we have quite a number of things on our itinerary and different climate thing going on.. but at least now I have a point of reference.
They are going to blog about it soon and I hope to place the link here for our reference.
