Cannot contain the excitement

I have a countdown on my homescreen now. Still a long way to go unfortunately.

That day at Pavi

One Word

Getting back to Bukit Jelutong after a meet that I believe will take SNUGGbaby a step further, this was played on BFM (our default radio station whenever we’re in KL — cause of the awesome playlist if you dunno why and also we dun get this in Ipoh)

It was raining heavily. We know it’s a really good song but we couldn’t make out the lyrics to google for it! Later that night, I tried.. but failed. In desperation, I surfed BFM and hesitated on sending them a note. I thought no way in hell they are going to entertain my stupid request.. but I sent them an email anyways.. asking if they can help me figure out the song that we heard. I was fuzzy on the time.. but after couple of emails later. I found it! Thanks so much!

Whaddayaknow… another Australian band made into my list.

So how did this happen?

First it was an order requesting for a ringsling made for her. Then it’s the material that reaches my sewing studio over a week ago.. and another little material came all the way from outside the country just last week.. then I locked myself in the studio.. and brought life into something that’s been playing in my mind.

Next is a stretch of holiday during the Raya Haji, then not going back to KL since my parents are on Haji… then DH mentioning about abandoned places that he has been to.. located very close to my in-laws’ place.. then I find myself digging out my old handbags and accessories that I haven’t touched for YEARS!

After lunch, just when it’s about to rain, we drove there and started taking pictures. Hehehehe.. it was fun! Should do this more often! For this session, I decided to utilise my turban-ish head wrap style using the love at first sight shawl (I have said this too many times ;p)

I have always wanted a ringsling made from wrap… I think i’ve chopped at least 15 wraps to date without breaking a nervous sweat but this time I hesitated a bit. However i think it’s a right decision i utilize this more as a ringsling than i would a wrap.

Used own shoulder style for this one and alhamdulillah it turns out great. Myonly qualms is that the tapered tail makes the tail too pointy. I think am gonna trim the tapering a bit so that it’s less pointy.

If ur house looks vintage, pardon me running around with the camera

And another one for the road

As part of lifestyle

I love it. Babywearing is definitely a lifestyle. As a part of a lifestyle, u either do it or you don’t and it depends a lot on how you direct your life, your child’s antiques and what kinda things you like to do when u are with your child

Whatever it is, I definitely am appreciating it heaps for now my muscles feels more toned, i dun gain weight even with all that calories i stuff everyday (partly thanks to bfeeding too) i feel more energetic with all that weight bearing exercise i’ve been doing, the bond i have with my #2 and to have enough hands to make sure #1 isn’t left behind

Yes yes babywearing is awesome.

This photo is taken outside a 50yr old bungalow near University Hospital that will be torn down very soon. It sucks because this house is what i would consider as my ideal house and even DH thinks so.

So sue me

Yes i love jumbo hammock. Unlike the huge one we got last year.. The one in our eid photo that afya was swinging in, this time we bought a neutral colour, sitting hammock. The same problem remains.. Where the hell are we gonna hook it up.. Yet to find a suitable place at home

On a different note, is finally up.. Although still a lot of work need to be done so please pardon the somewhat unrelated image on the front page.. And the info are just too little… If you don’t mind, do play around with the links.. Click on everything clickable.. Heck i dun even care if u checked out something as long as u put a note which says something like “am just trying out ur shop, not really buyin” or “just pulling ur leg mate” or even “fooled ya!” (altho do try to be nice hehehe) by the end of this trial period, let’s see if any of you manage to letupkan the website LOL. Your help is duly appreciated 😉

Something else needs my time now but before i stop, i’d like to say that i have recently discovered that Kinta is pretty awesome.. And i very much love Ipoh
