“As we get on our flight” on YouTube
We are in Abu Dhabi Airport now waiting for further instructions. There was a medical emergency and we had to stop in Chennai for the passenger to seek appropriate medical attention. Thus now we missed our airport transfer and probably need to put up one night here for the flight tomorrow. Another option is to spend another 10-12hrs on and off qatar until we reach casablanca. I guess it’s a good time to explore Abu Dhabi airport 😉
*Update: we are putting up a night in Abu Dhabi and catch tomorrow’s flight to Casablanca. We had to cancel our car reservation and was quite stumped when we couldn’t find any more car rentals to rebook. We thought of all the possible ways to tweak the itinerary and decided to sleep on it. Then alhamdulillah after refreshing the pages, the car rental website is back online and there are actually cars available for hire. We will miss our day one on the itinerary which is to jalan2 Casablanca and Morocco Mall. This we will attempt to do on the last day insyaallah.
Taking photos have proven to be a bit more challenging this time because we carry more stuff than we usually do. Usually the most we’d carry are two luggage. I will have my handbag and Terry, his back pack. This time we have additional stroller, boostapak and car seat. Keeping out hands quite full. We should be able to take more photos once we have a car and can leave all these and extra hand carries behind. I look forward to take more photos!
We boarded Virgin OZ Airlines to AbuDhabi. It’s good. The entertainment system, the food surprisingly, and the seats are pretty comfy too. The flight attendant fixed Salih’s carseat without much trouble and Afya was able to use her boostapak. During the delay, we were adequately updated on the current status and how long they estimate the delay would be which was really good.
